Overview

Acupuncture and acupressure are powerful and simple tools that can be used to help gently prepare the body for labour and birth. It has been found to help soften the cervix, stimulate contractions, encourage proper baby positioning and calm the nervous system to help women have more efficient, well-supported births with less discomfort and fewer interventions.

In this course, Naturopathic Doctor Amy Dobbie will cover the ins and outs of using acupressure in the final weeks of pregnancy and during birth including a demonstration of specific points. You'll leave with hands-on strategies and the confidence to manage labour with ease!
