Description:

The hip joint is one of the important joints in the body having a vital role in locomotion. Many people think of hip pain as a problem that only  occurs when we are older. However, hip pain in young adults is common and it can be challenging for physiotherapists and healthcare practitioners to identify the source of the problem.

There are many systems relevant to the hip region of the body making it difficult to diagnose the source of an individual's pain.

This online course by Dr. O.R. (Femi) Ayeni provides a structured approach to evaluating a young adult with hip pain.

By learning to evaluate key elements of the patient's history, the basics of imaging, and the physical examination, it should become easier to identify the problem that is causing the pain.
