Practice Management on Embodia - Part 1: Charting - Tasks
Embodia allows you to add tasks associated with a patient profile. Those tasks are not visible to patients, but are shared across the clinic, i.e. they are visible to other practitioners in your clinic that are connected to the patient profile, and to clinic admins.
Adding tasks from the patient profile
To add a task for a patient account, from the patient account, click on Communication > Tasks.
The tasks page will list the tasks for the patient profile. By default, only the incomplete tasks are shown. You can choose the status dropdown to filter tasks. The following statuses are available:
- Only show incomplete tasks: This is the default view. It will display all tasks that have not been marked as completed
- Only show tasks due today: If selected, only the tasks that are due today will be displayed
- Only show overdue tasks: If selected, only the tasks that are overdue will be displayed
- Show all tasks: If selected, all tasks will be displayed (including the ones marked as completed)
To add a task to the patient account, click on the Add task button. In the popup form, enter the name of the task, and provide an optional description and optional due date.
To mark a task as completed, click on the "check" icon next to the task, or click the "edit" icon, and check the "Completed" checkbox.
